With over 15 years’ experience in Health & Safety, Tara has built a career working across high-risk environments, including the rail & waste management industries. She has supported public, private, & 3rd sector organisations, helping to strengthen and improve their health & safety practices.
Ciara McGovern - Managing Director
Ciara has over 20 years HR experience in both the private and public sectors and has managed the full range of HR services, delivering success projects and advice to diverse teams and businesses. Ciara works with a wide range of SME and third sector clients across many sectors.
Ian Pilbeam - CEO

With over half a decade of experience at The HR & HS Dept, and over a quarter of a century as the CEO’s son, Rory has a solid grasp of what The H&S Dept is all about. Rory manages the financial side of things, day-to-day. Like father, like son, Rory’s passions include football, travel, and music.
Roonagh Pilbeam - Administration Assistant
Daughter of the CEO and sister to the Finance Officer, Roonagh has years of experience in the H&S Dept providing administrative and marketing support keeping the business running smoothly.
